About the artworks of Fritz Pechmann

Each body of work represents a specific phase in his artistic development. Beginning with collages constructed from advertising materials and posters, his practice later expanded to wall objects and paintings based on geometric compositions and eventually to works of visual poetry.

Cubes

The Cubes series extends calm, harmony, and order into the space. The cube - a closed, self-contained form - becomes a concrete manifestation of clarity and structure. Inspired by the Platonic solids, each sculpture reflects a pursuit of inner balance.

These artworks were created in 2025.

Christian Iconography

Conceptual Abstract Stations of the Cross. The individual Stations of the Cross are reduced to their iconographic, structural content - to a few geometric basic forms. The color scheme is designed to emphasize the symbolic value.

These artworks were created between 2022 and 2023.

These artworks were created between 1991 and 1992.
