In these artworks, figures are combined with geometric elements and individual words that create connections.
These words add an additional layer of meaning to the patterns.
The placement of the word is crucial; the entire “fabric” - the interplay of elements with the word - forms the new image. The nouns consciously interact with the surrounding elements, aiming to evoke in the viewer an idea of what they represent.
Concrete poetry, which increasingly merges into a media conglomerate under the name of visual poetry, reflecting complexity but no longer able to unify its parts, searches for meaning and dignity, as still conveyed today in Hebrew script.
